In the fallout of the Minnesota Viking's 10-9 playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, kicker Blair Walsh has received his fair share of flak for missing a last-second field goal that would've advanced the Vikings to the next round of the playoffs. Which is why Judie Offerdahl, a teacher at North Point Elementry in Blaine Minnesota, decided to have her first grade class write some supportive letters to Blair. She told the students thst everyone makes mistakes and we should support his mistakes. The students even said he was the best player, an amazing kicker and frankly, quite handsome as well. On the card the students explained a time where the made a mistake and that it was okay to make the mistake. "dont worry its just a game" "One time I made a mistake when I was doing a cartwheel and I felt embarrassed." Which showed Blair that it was perfectly fine to be making mistakes, everyone does it.
