Luke Hemmings was born July 16, 1996 in Sydney Australia. In 2011 he would post videos of himself singing on social media and youtube. He grew up with two brothers, Ben and Jack. His parents names are, Andrew and Liz. As a small boy his first dream was to be able to sing show tunes on broad way. When he got a little older he was the voice of animated TV star 'Pingu'. in 5 seconds of sumer he is lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. He and his band members Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, and Michael Clifford went ot the same school, Northwest Chirstian College.
